An Update from Dr. Matt Squires on the Squires family (Drs. Matt Squires,’16, and Mike Squires, ’16. “We both have been in the Navy for two years now, and we both love it! We are both leaving our current duty stations and moving to Japan!! I’m leaving August 1st, and Mike leaves October 1st. Japan wasn’t necessarily part of the plan, but very excited for a completely new experience. I’ll be in Sasebo, which is a small base in rural South mainland Japan. Mike will be in Okinawa, which is a small island off the coast of mainland Japan (a lot like Hawaii). A quick plane ride or ferry apart from each other, so we will do some very overseas traveling for the next two years while we are on that part of the planet.”
