Amazing opportunity for a Medical Optometrist to join an elite multispecialty ophthalmology and optometry practice – No call/weekends & high earning potential in a gorgeous coastal location!

This ophthalmology practice has experienced steady growth over the last 30 years. The team includes 10 surgeons, 5 optometrists, and dedicated technicians, scribes, and front office staff that treat a wide variety of eye diseases including corneal disorders, diabetic eye diseases, cataracts, retina, oculoplastics, refractive, and glaucoma.

This practice is located in beautiful Monterey County, California, only 90 minutes from Stanford University and 2 hours from San Francisco. The region is a global capital for ocean science and technology and Monterey Bay is among the most studied areas of the ocean. There are plenty of things to do in Monterey, a quintessential north Californian ocean town. Facing wide Monterey Bay, it’s famed around the globe for its abundance of marine wildlife and uber-fresh seafood. Mild weather throughout the year and an abundance of family friendly attractions make this a very special place!

Highlights of the Position:

·         Full-scope medical co-mgt

·         Mon-Fri, 8-5 only

·         FIRST YEAR GUARANTEE – at least $150,000

·         30-40 patients per day (heavy support staff)

·         No call or weekends

·         Some contact lens & optical work (optical bonuses)

Minimum Qualifications:

·         Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree

·         Valid CA license
