Our community is 2 1/2 hours to the sandy beaches of San Diego or 2 1/2 hours to Phoenix, AZ. Yuma has the gorgeous Colorado River and Imperial Sand Dunes to enjoy water sports or fishing at the river or off- road recreational activities at the sand dunes.

Corona Optique was established in 1991 in Yuma Arizona. Our practice started as a one doctor practice and has grown into a six-doctor practice with two locations. We support the interest of our doctors by establishing a Dry Eye Clinic, Pediatric Clinic and have a doctor that focuses on glaucoma and another in specialty contact lens fitting.
Yuma is a unique community; agriculture, military, including a Marine and Army base and a large influx of seasonal visitors. Our summers are hot. However, with access to pools, river sports and quick trips to the San Diego beaches, it passes quickly. Winter visitors represent a large increase in population because our winters are sunny and beautiful. Housing is affordable and commute times are short. Yuma is a great place to raise a family.
Our employment package includes a base salary of $150,000, health insurance, retirement match up to 3%, continuing education allowance, paid vacation and holidays, license fees, malpractice insurance paid. Additionally, an assistance of student loan debt repayment after 5 years of employment. Relocation help is available for doctors who are relocating. Our schedule is 16 full exams and 6 follow-up appointments each day. Our hours are 8 to 5, Monday – Friday, closed on the weekends.
