Opportunity to serve nursing homes located around the Lake Charles, LA area. Pay is $750-$1200 per day, plus 20k sign on bonus! This is a great opportunity for an optometrist living in the area to work as many days per week as they would like (1 to 5 days) with a geriatric population providing routine, acute, and chronic eye disease care. Conduct eye exams using mobile optometric equipment and general diagnostic interpretation. Diagnose and treat ocular disease. Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses. Recommend appropriate patient follow-up and care options. Practice handles all scheduling and billing. Lucrative, flexible, & rewarding position! Lake Charles is conveniently located off of I-10 between Houston and New Orleans. In addition, the Lake Charles Regional Airport makes it convenient to connect to Houston or Dallas for major intercontinental and international flights.
