Beaumont, Texas – Optometrist Needed

Leading MD/OD practice in Southeast Texas is looking for an ambitious optometrist to help with increased demand. This is a full time opening. This multi-physician practice is well established, growing rapidly, and enjoys a good relationship with the local optometry community. New optometrist will practice therapeutic optometry while still performing some routine exams and leaving the refractions to our experienced technicians. They will likely see more pathology than a typical OD and should be comfortable managing glaucoma, etc…  The practice has state of the art equipment and a fully trained staff with experienced scribes. Competitive base salary plus aggressive bonus structure which allows for great income potential and full benefits package. The practice is located approximately 70 miles from Houston and 30 minutes from the Gulf Coast and is a haven for saltwater fishing and other outdoor activities.

Job Duties:

experience in a medical setting
Strong in primary care optometry
Skills in ocular disease treatment
Contact lens fitting
Comfortable providing complete eye care for patients of all ages
