This full-time optometrist role focuses on conducting routine eye exams as well as medical-based optometry services, including co-management, pre and post-operative care. Schedule is Monday-Friday, no weekend. The position emphasizes a medical-oriented approach, catering to walk-in patients seeking both general eye care and specialized treatments. The optometrist will have the opportunity to work in a walk-in friendly environment and collaborate closely with onsite labs to ensure comprehensive eye health services are provided. The city offers a unique experience as the city straddles the Texas-Arkansas border, creating a dual-state atmosphere. Job Duties:
Perform comprehensive eye and vision tests.
Advise patients on proper eye care techniques.
Contact lens fitting.
Prescribe medications, eyeglasses and contact lenses.
Seeing fair amount of medical cases
