Kailey Utley (’20) came to the College of Optometry in August 2016 after a very distinguished high school and college soccer career.  She was an outstanding collegiate player, helping lead her Division One West Virginia University women’s team to the Elite 8 nationally.  Like Jessie Crabtree (’18), she has continued her passion with great success.  Playing for her “Fire & Ice Soccer Club” based out of Belleville, Illinois, they won the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) national championship. The WPSL is a semi-professional league that plays during the summer months and boasts over 100 teams nationwide. This is an outstanding accomplishment for which she can be quite proud: “It was such a special summer competing alongside the ladies of Fire & Ice SC. We were so grateful that we were able to achieve our goal of bringing a championship back home to St. Louis.”
