UMSL College of Optometry and the Office of Precollegiate Student Services is currently recruiting high school juniors and seniors to participate in a summer program designed to provide an inside look into becoming an eye doctor.

Eyes on Diversity is a high school enrichment program organized by UMSL’s College of Optometry and the Office of Precollegiate Student Services. High school students entering their Junior or Senior year in Fall 2021 are eligible to apply.
During the Eyes on Diversity program, participants will learn more about becoming a Doctor of Optometry. The summer program will provide hands-on activities and demonstrations, presentations and more to give participants an inside look into becoming and thriving as an eye doctor. Students will also engage in professional and personal development workshops as they prepare for college.
The Summer EYE Academy is brought to you by the College of Optometry and Precollegiate Service Student Services (Bridge) through generous sponsorship by VSP Global.
The Summer EYE Academy 2021 will be held virtually on the following Saturday mornings: June 12, 19, 26, July 10, 17 and 24.
